Samsung 40 inch LCD TV Review (LE40B650)

Samsung 40 inch LCD TV Review (LE40B650) Okay, so you guys have been waiting for this review since back in December and it's finally here! I got this for Christmas of 2009 and have been evaluating it up to this point trying to get a good feel for how I like it and how well everything works. BUY SAMSUNG 40": www.Extreme-Days.com Check Out The Blog: www.Extreme-Days.com Follow Me On Twitter Twitter.com Join Me On Facebook: www.Extreme-Days.com Donate Through PayPal: www.extreme-days.com I'm going to start off and address the whole "Samsung clicking" issue. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't exist. I've never seen it, and it's never happened to my TV the whole time I've had it. The one thing I do have to say about it is that if you do have this so called "Samsung clicking" you should make sure you have your cable box hooked up and set up correctly, because if you have not done this it could cause the box to click letting you know that something's wrong, but it isn't the actual TV doing the clicking. Next up we have the picture quality. Now I couldn't compare side by side with another LCD TV, but at the time, this TV was the top of the line model and it still shows. The picture and sound quality is crystal clear, the colors are vibrant and really pop well. The audio is sufficient, but if you really want to experience the full potential of this LCD TV, I would advise you to hook it up to some sort of sound system and then listen to how much it improves the overall experience ...

Samsung UN32D5500 32-Inch 1080p LED HDTV (Black) Specifications

February 2011
Samsung's UN32D5500 LED HDTV delivers brilliant LED picture quality on a 32-inch display. And your options are not limited to television or connected devices: Samsung's ConnectShare Movie technology lets you plug in a thumb drive or other USB device and play media files using your remote to control it all. Or, you can connect to your home network and stream music, video, or picture files from DLNA certified devices. Regardless of your entertainment choices, the UN32D5500 dependably delivers a clear and captivating picture in Full HD 1080p resolution. Even when it's off, it's easy on the eye, with a slim bezel, sleek form factor, and Samsung's "Touch of Color" design.

Brilliant LED picture quality and a wealth of entertainment options.

Slim and Stylish LED HDTV

LED backlighting is not only more energy-efficient than its CCFL counterpart, it allows for a slimmer television design, allowing the UN32D5500 to check in at just over an inch deep without its stand. Samsung's slim bezel design adds to the visual appeal, making this display almost all screen, and a worthy addition to most any room.

The UN32D5500 also features Samsung's "Touch of Color" design, which blends a hint of amber color into the traditional piano black bezel frame, for eye-catching style even when your TV is turned off.

1080p Full HD With Four HDMI Inputs

The UN32D5500 delivers Full HD 1080p resolution, for a superb level of detail and clarity in your picture. To connect your sources, four HDMI inputs are provided, for delivering a Full HD picture and audio over a single cable. Product comes with 4 HDMI inputs/outputs, 2 PC ports, and and 2 component video inputs to use for "old video players".

Exceeds ENERGY STAR Standards

The UN32D5500 taps into the energy efficiency of LED backlighting, and exceeds the strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the EPA and US Department of Energy by up to 50%. That means you get lower utility costs, and a smaller carbon footprint.

Samsung's ConnectShare lets you easily connect a thumb drive or digital camera via USB and enjoy videos, music, or picture files.

Samsung UN40D5500 Wide Color Enhancer Plus

Wide Color Enhancer Plus delivers the entire spectrum of color and luminance for rich, saturated images with intense detail.

ConnectShare Movie

Connect a thumb drive or digital camera quickly and easily via the UN32D5500's USB port. An intuitive, user-friendly interface allows access to videos, music, or pictures via the remote.

AllShare DLNA Networking

For even more entertainment options, the UN32D5500 lets you connect to your home network and stream music, videos, and photos from other DLNA Certified devices (your computer, network storage drive, etc.).

Wide Color Enhancer Plus

The challenge of any TV screen is to recreate reality through color and light. Samsung takes on this challenge with their Wide Color Enhancer Pro feature. After analyzing each pixel, it stretches them to their 3-dimensional limit. What you get is the entire spectrum of color and luminance for rich, saturated images with intense detail.

Audio Performance

SRS' TheaterSound, available in new Samsung HDTVs, is an all-in-one audio suite that directly addresses the three most common consumer TV audio complaints--inconsistent volume levels, unintelligible vocals, and poor, dimension-less sound. SRS helps ensure you get the most out of the UN32D55000's two 10-watt speakers, and additional technologies like Dolby Digital Plus and support for multi-channel sound (MTS) add even more on the sonic side of things.

Anynet+ (Anynet Plus)

Anynet+ is a function that operates through HDMI jacks, allowing you to control up to twelve Samsung devices with your Samsung TV remote. Note that Anynet+ can only be used with Samsung devices that have the Anynet+ feature.

PC Connectivity

The UN32D5500 also features a PC input, so you and use it as a computer monitor.
